Help Support Local Campaigns When You Shop!
Over the Christmas period, many of us will have
spent money on websites such as Amazon, Ebay, Boots and B&Q. Now
there is a way in which Thornbury & Yate Liberal Democrats can get money
every time you do this – at no cost to yourself. We have registered with
a website called:
www.shop2fundraise.co.uk and the way it works is simple.
If you visit the site and type in our name
“Thornbury and Yate Liberal Democrats” it will know which cause you
want to support. If you then type in the name of the shop you want (eg
Amazon, Ebay, Sainsburys etc) it gives you a link to their normal
website but we get a percentage of what you spend. Better still, the
‘shop2fundraise’ site has a ‘gadget’ you can download which prompts
you every time you go to one of these sites that you can raise money for
the local party and asks you to confirm.
If you value the work done by Steve Webb and the local Liberal Democrat
team, then this is a way of helping support that work financially at
absolutely no cost to yourself. Every penny will be spent on
campaigning for local people.
Of course, we are also always looking out for
volunteers to help us locally in other ways to.

of the opportunities to help.
