Lib Dem Shadow Foreign Secretary To Speak In Northavon

The guest of honour at this year’s Northavon Liberal Democrat constituency dinner is the party’s shadow foreign secretary, the Rt. Hon. Menzies Campbell QC MP. Ming Campbell is a very senior figure in the party and has played a leading role in setting out the Liberal Democrats’ response to the terrorist attacks on the USA last month. Northavon MP Steve Webb, who invited Mr. Campbell to visit, said: “I am delighted that at this very busy time Ming Campbell will be coming to Northavon to share his thoughts with us. He is someone who is widely respected across all political parties for his insight and understanding of foreign affairs. The dinner is open to any local resident who would like to meet Ming and hear more about how he sees the present situation”. The dinner will take place on Friday 26th October at Rangeworthy Village Hall, and tickets, priced £20 can be obtained by contacting Clare Fardell on 01454 412486.
